Privacy & Cookie Policy

1. Who we are

TRACK (Testing Readiness & Academic Core Knowledge) is an independent online academic assessment for Grades 1–11. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit this website, buy an access code, or take an assessment. TRACK is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge University Press & Assessment or any other examination board.

2. What we collect

• Access codes & device identifier. Access codes are bound to the first device/browser that uses them. We store a random device identifier — not your name or personal profile — alongside the code's usage count and status.
• Email address. If you buy a code, the email you enter at checkout is used to deliver your access code and receipt. It is not used for marketing unless you ask us to.
• Payment records. We keep a record of your payment reference, the plan purchased, and the code issued, so we can support you if a code is lost.
• Assessment answers. Your answers and the resulting grade-level summary are processed to produce your report. Answers are not used to identify you personally.
• Technical logs. Standard server logs (IP address, timestamps, request type) kept briefly for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention.

We do not create user accounts, and we do not collect more personal information than the service requires.

3. Cookies & advertising

This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (including the advertising cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
• Essential cookies/local storage may also be used to remember your session during an assessment and to keep the site secure. These are necessary for the site to function.

4. Payments

All payments are processed by Paystack, our payment provider. When you pay:

• Your card or mobile-money details are entered on Paystack's secure checkout and are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
• Paystack shares with us your email address, the payment reference and the amount paid — the minimum needed to deliver your access code.
• Paystack's own handling of your data is described in Paystack's Privacy Policy.

5. Assessment results & children

TRACK is designed for school-age students, so we treat children's privacy with particular care:

• We do not ask students for their names, ages, school, contact details or any identifying information to take an assessment.
• A purchase and a working email address from a parent, guardian or school is required to obtain an access code. Students use the code without providing personal details.
• Results are shown on screen, can be printed locally, and are stored only in summary form tied to the code — not to a named child.
• Schools and parents remain the data controllers of any results they choose to record from TRACK sessions.

6. How we use data

• To deliver access codes and receipts after payment.
• To operate, secure and troubleshoot the assessment service.
• To prevent abuse of codes (e.g. limiting uses, device binding).
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use assessment answers for advertising profiles.

7. Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service:

8. Retention & security

• Access-code and purchase records are kept so we can honour and support codes over their lifetime.
• Server logs are kept only briefly for security purposes.
• Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls; file-level security measures protect our records.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (for example, the email address on a purchase record), or ask any other questions about this policy, by contacting us at the address below. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

You can control advertising cookies yourself at any time via the links in §3 — this does not affect your use of TRACK. Your use of the service is also governed by our Terms of Service.
